urban planning

LBA Urbanismo has been involved in urban planning projects since it was established in 1992. During the course of this time, we have drawn up 16 muncipal land use plans, most of which have been approved and implemented.
The most important ones in terms of size are the Almeria Plan, encompassing a population of over 700,000, a historic heritage site and a surface area of 296 sq. km, and the plan for the World Heritage city of Merida, the capital of the region of Extremadura with a municipal surface area of 865 sq. km.

The other land use plans include the World Heritage towns of Ubeda and Baeza, and another five towns with historical heritage status: Sanlucar de Barrameda, Baza, Palma del Rio, Cabra and Priego de Cordoba. Heritage protection and appropriate regeneration measures are crucial aspects of all of these plans.
